Thank you. I thought about adding a background but decided to keep it simple this time, like an indoor photo shoot or something like that in a very dark place.Gornall43mx wrote:Looks really good Jre just add a forrest background to it and it'll look amazing![]()

Your render looks pretty fine, just needs some glow to the metal parts because now they look too flat. And I would make normal maps a bit less intensive in plastics and add some hardness to the specularity.

The clothes are to flat and i dont know if its just me but the angel of the fork seems to be wrong. Other then that its a cool render. I like the red background color fading into black.
Tennis, Basketball and Baseball all requires one ball
Motocross requires two!

its just the angle that makes it looks soBuddyTheElf wrote:Something about that front fender just doesnt look right. Looks like there's a big bulge towards the front of it that isnt there on the real thing.
really nice render, rider looks great!Jre wrote:Here is my whole day exported into png.
If anyone is wondering, I modeled the stones so there is no background image. They were actually very fast to do.
I also made some little changes on the p2sta's rider model to get it look like I wanted, generally on the middle and lower body area.
Used the blender internal for rendering. Tried the cycles first time yesterday and it felt like a complete disaster so I decided to use the one that I can handle.

Re: Post your render for MXS here!
Thank you p2sta,
I think the kawis front fender looks weird because of the focal length of the bike render doesn't fully match with the background, so it makes an illusion. The background photo is taken with a huge tele so the perspective is really flat compared to the bike render perspective, which is pretty wide.
Also there can be some incorrect shape on the fender viewed from above because it's really hard to get it right without having a real one on hands. But who cares, it looks awesome in the game. For sure the best looking bike in game from 1st person view currently. It affects to my riding as well
Actually another reason I thought was that the fender was purposely made too wide to look better in 1st person because the high FOV in game makes nearly all the bikes look too fat on the fuel tank area and too thin on the front fender.
But I don't really think it was made like that.
