I dont think you understand though. The video will be at 60 fps, sure. But if the game is only running at 15 fps whilst you are recording, the footage will consist of 4 frames of the same image 15 times a second.

I dont understand how that could possibly work. If the video is laggy, it means that the game frame rate is lower than the frame rate that fraps is try to record at. Trying to record at a higher frame rate would probably make things worse.

Only JLV's movie script can get a non-laggy video if your computer is bad. It will actually slow the game down to record at the required framerate.

it actually did become worse so i put it to 30 and it seems to work just fine....thanx for all the advice guys
