Re: post your screen shots of MXSim
the point is, i'm putting time and effort into pushing the evolution of this game. when i ride and do replays riding that bike it looks WAY more realistic. when other people see that bike on other forums, it looks way more appealing. I'm not only trying to draw in more business for JLV (which could lead to more updates), but on a personal level it's satisfying to see the results of the work that i've put in. as for the series, i think these models should be used, but thats just me. not hatin, just statin

But I just don't get why you are putting in all this effort for something that isn't 100% made by you? If it was 100% made by you, I would have no problems with it being used in the series. I'd be more than happy to skin for it as well.

Re: post your screen shots of MXSim
by the time i'm done with this model it will be completely my own. every vertex will have been changed. it will be the first hi def model for mxs. what i've got so far looks sweet and i'm only half way done.Pumaxcs wrote:well... we cant use mva models in the series so wats the point of it?
i'm only using the mva model as a reference for sizing and placement of parts.

Re: post your screen shots of MXSim
You can use most of the parts for the other models though can't you?
A few other questions- Will this be using 1024x512 skins or 1024x1024?
- With the engine and frame area, will the complete model have such a big gap at the bottom-front bit?
- The bars won't look so big as they did with the other models will they?

Completely ground up. That's good to hear. After you finish the first model, it will be a whole lot easier to finish up the rest of the bikes. If you need any help with this shoot me a PM or something. I'm glad to help.

it uses a 1024 x 512 skin.DJ wrote: A few other questions- Will this be using 1024x512 skins or 1024x1024?

the engine is almost taken care of with respect so actual size and placement
the bars will fit the rider's hands. (along with this i think i'll model a arm_lower.jm that actually has fingers instead of just a block hand.)

All shots from my new track.

Railing the banner after the finish line.

Coming off the berm for a stepup.

On the gas, pulling a wheelie.

Lol, Hockey stop.

Scrubbing the stepup (Pic 3)

Overjumping the big stepup tabletop.

Catching some roost before one of the singles to the flats.

Braapin' up over the tabletop.
