In SX? No, tubes. You lose so much feel with a mouse. Outdoors they are the obvious choice, but in SX everyone still runs tubes. It's not a flat at all, just a low pressure and a GeoMax "prototype" tire. By prototype I mean super soft Pheonix SX tire that no consumer will ever see.
If they were to run tubes then it would be in the front. I mean I could be wrong but its not abnormal for teams to run bibs in SX. And yea, its obvious and normal that Honda would have custom tires, or any other factory team, or any other team that has the resources and money.

They only run them if flats are a problem. A few guys used them at Vegas when the track pushed into the tunnel, but I haven't heard of people running them in SX other than that.

Well bibs aren't as touchy as one may think for SX, but its a 50/50 just for SX so you never know. It may be just me but I don't think a team like factory Honda or any other factory team would take a chance with a flat.
