That's why I'm confused it isn't 60. I recorded it in 60, rendered it in 60. Had no problems like this on my old pc, watched one video and was set.

I'm having problems recording with fraps on Sim lately. Whenever I open up sim with Fraps and start recording, my fps drops from 125 to 5-8 fps... whats the deal? It nearly crashes my game

I had a friends fraaps do this too. we couldnt figure it out.

Apparently Fraps takes up 20% of your hard drive when recording so you need enough free space for it to record, not sure what I'd remove in order to get that free space back available.

have you tried plays.tv? the files save alot smaller than fraps i think and you can set custom resolutions and bitrate
