Apparently I and a couple others were the only ones that liked that track. Everyone was raging that the track was way too difficult. I loved it extremely much. All the 2012/2013 tracks were way better IMO.

The 2016 tracks were awesome yes. They've done a great job. I still like the 2012/2013 tracks way better though. Just like Connor said, slowing down for braking bumps and properly set up for a rut and follow it through is what I liked so much. Today's tracks don't have this anymore.

I agree with you however a lot of that is down to line choice. If you don't take the wider, smoother lines you have to ride the same as the older tracks. In a race everyone just filters to these smooth lines because generally they are quicker and more consistent.

Its also stiff like the ruts on 2012 are sloped on the inside too so you actually sit in the rut, its not just a berm, thats what stops people going mach 10

So i've just been introduced to 2012 redbud... how have we gone so downhill in tracks since then? the ruts and bumps are perfect and actually a challenge. So much more fun than the highways we get now, plus it looks stunning
