Sorry just a typical response I get when saying this, but thank you Logan, and I'm sure your PC setup is better than mine. I'm not the only one suffering random ass lag spikes/jittery frames without actually dropping fps.

RIP my title run in 2018 (sarcasm)

but yeah I hope the game doesn't lag, going to ruin the racing if it does. I haven't tried erode on the EMF servers, so I'm basing this off the little online experience I've had of it, but it would be unfortunate to struggle in SX if its not smooth.

So any idea when they're going to release the new website? I'm just kind of concerned about emf being able to get all memberships in on time.

Skins thread will be out a few days before the championsship starts. This way we'll eliminate update packs on day 1 due to last minute roster changes.

Just some complains/begging for skins. No one is needing to see your skins in 4k. If you want a stream to be seamless, smooth and not having to wait for the streamer to time out, please have your skins in 2k resolution. The team packs will be far smaller and it won't take an eternity to load. Also compressing the png's would be nice (save for web -> png24 preset) to make download sizes as small as possible.

Can we at least get a heads up on the amount memberships will be as well? Not sure why we need to keep it a secret, it's not going to take any hype away from the series announcement.

Until EMF announces a official streamer, I will be streaming the PRO night of the EU series on MY CHANNEL.

If I see a privateer pack that's 400mb I will just not bother downloading it so please please follow Storkens advice and use the "save for web" feature in Photoshop while saving. Also if I notice any 4K packs I will not use them, simple as that.

Other than that I hope for as many as possible to post their skins as it make the stream look so much better. I will be looking forward to some great racing in 2018.

Re-saving is too difficult? You're in luck! Go to https://tinypng.com/ and just upload them, then download them and they will be downloaded with the same name even! :D

I agree with Devin, it'd be nice to have an update on memberships.

checkerz wrote:There has been plenty of erode testing, just unfortunately only a handful chose to participate.
I don't want to be wrong here but if I remember right most of the testing was "Erode testing in 30 min join this server"

There was a test race on December 1st at 7:15pm (Friday night), and was posted at 6:00pm that night (1 hour and 15 minutes notice)
Another one on August 21st at 7:00pm (Monday night), with the topic made at 5:00pm (2 hours notice)
Another one on August 11th at 7:00pm with no notice ahead of time (Friday night), basically a topic saying join the server immediately to test.
and finally a server test on July 30th at 6:30pm with no notice ahead of time, same as before, basically a topic announcing server testing immediately.

I don't know if I'm being a nitpicker here, but I'd imagine if you wanted more people to participate in an erode test and you were serious about it, then you should have made an official "erode testing mini-series" on a select night with a couple days of notice ahead of time. I'm not complaining Chris, because I know you're going to take it that way, but when you have 2 hours tops of being notified of a race, it's unlikely you'll be able to make it. Hey, some nights I probably could have made it into a test race, but most of the time I'm not checking the racing forum especially for new events at 5-6pm on a Friday night, a lot of us are probably out riding bmx, hanging with our girlfriends, or hanging with our buddies on a Friday night. I'm not trying to call you out, but you can't turn into the victim and blame us when you hosted three test races with erode back-to-back-to-back with essentially zero notice then host another one three months later with a similar one hour heads up. Take it for what it is, if you wanted a better turnout, give us at least 24 hour heads up of a test server race and I'm sure the turnout would have doubled or tripled and you would have gotten what you wanted.

Membership fees still aren't decided. Been a lot of changes, this is just one of many decisions.
