Re: I am wrong?
What size monitor do you have? The largest resolution I've heard of it 1920x1080. In fact, after looking, no monitors can get that resolution. My resolution is at 2560x1900

Ever since the decal system was introduced.
LOL, it doesn't even do anything for me, my textures still get mip mapped

Re: I am wrong?
IN FACT, IS POSSIBLE THAT JLV COULD DELETE THE BLURR EFFECT, ALSO CONFIGURE IT IN GRAPHICS MENU (FOR SLOW COMPUTERS) SO FAST COMPUTERS COULD ENJOY A REALLY BETTER GRAPHICS

Re: I am wrong?
Danke, you don't understand how it works. It is not a blur effect. The map is made up of tiled textures, which are created from your decal placement. So each tile is different, which means you would have a fair few textures loaded into your memory. Mip mapping makes the tiles at a distance a lower resolution. This puts less strain on the CPU, and reduces 'sparkling' textures.
The reason the old tile system looks so much sharper, is because there are only 2 textures, which use up much less resources than the current way. But you cant make a decent looking track using those tiles.
EDIT: I was just trying to play multiplayer then, I was getting a shit frame rate, even after turning the anti-aliasing and that down. Then I realised I forgot to turn mip mapping back on. It does make a huge difference.

Re: I am wrong?
i likeed the old texture system,we could make a good looking track if we had more colors etc,it wouldnt bother me if we still had that texture system the clearer the better =P
