Why did you show us stylized, photoshopped images where you can hardly see the track, to preview your track?

So what you did, was take a completely flat terrain, put some totally random humps of dirt on it, including a bizzare raised corner, then encircle the entire thing with similarly random humps of dirt? EDIT ya know, I shouldn't knock people on this cause I do it too

It's really hard to critique anything other then the unnaturalness of it all, thanks to your "sharpen and layermask" screenshot style. Do you have an action setup to do that yet??

Ok who says every national track has to be "natural"? last time i checked jumps and berms ans whops dont form naturally. Besides its not how "natural" the track looks, It's about how it rides.

Heres some updated pics. I only have this game at work, and my crappy monitor was set at a super dark setting so when I made light textures they wre actually extremely light on anyone elses computer. I just found this out today after seeing my previous tracks on a good monitor. After I somewhat calibrated the monitor, I darkened my textures. I also colored the grass billboards to blend with the surrounding grass/hay wall "after these shots were taken". No photoshopping was done to these photos.

Guys I freaking busted my ass to do this, and all I get is negative, non-constrcutive feedback? At least tell me how to fix the damn thing. And lose your ego's while your at it.

I like it staydown, it looks like a track in a marsh somewhere. Only thing I would say is to turn down the opacity of the decal you are using, it looks real but almost too real (if that makes sense).

You just posted when I submitted Jack. I think it doesn't look to bad, I would agree that you shouldn't PS track pictures just so we know the actual color of the tex's ect. The fence has gaps in places too.

I had to move the fence after a major track update, and I haven't put it back yet. The berm pic isnt photoshopped, look at it.

A) How can we give you (a lot of) feedback on the preview shots you provided?

B) The feedback you've been given is constructive.

C) It looks like a fun track.

D) You are too far down the road to really incorperate any additional changes. Release what you have, move onto the next one. If you truely want constructive feedback, post your screenshots much earlier in the design process.

E) I'm glad to hear you actually incorperated changes to your track based on beta feedback. You'd be amazed how many people don't.

Too be honest, the disp map is a little funky, but my tex's are killer. Im deciding if I should dump the disp map and keep the sweet texs, or should I just release as is. Its my first track too. So callm down a lil guys.
