chill out mates. Release around the corner and Staydown have made the skybox and textures and I asked him because I had no freakin motivation to make that stuff. Ofcourse he doesn't put in the time for make it perfect when it's not his track.

No worries dude, I'm just stressed. You can release the track as is, your call. But for me personally, It's hard for me to release something and then look at it everyday knowing I coulda made it better. Therefore I suggest that if you really care, you should finish this track right, not worry about a release date, and really open peoples eyes when you do release. Just a thought, it's worked for me a couple of times.

ps: If you let me ride the track, and the displacement has tons of options and rides good, I'll help you out in making it a stellar track with objects and texs.

Thanks for the offer but Me and Staydown are going to fine tune it a little and let it be probably like it is. Staydown is really stepping up for me.

This track will look beautiful when its done. I will make sure of that. I haven't even gotten Jesplind's opinion on these textures(first ones I whipped up). Texture's are the biggest pain in the butt though, everytime you think you have something good, you end up making another one thats better. It's a never ending cycle, lol. I have a totally complete track that I have been retexuring for like 3 months now, just trying to get it right.

This was one of ddmx's track he had laying around and ive kinda been teaching myself stuff with the editor and doing tracks and getting a better understanding on things. There are a few more corners and ruts i would like to finish a few more disp tweaks. I am having a selective beta for feedback also, contact me.

Looks great james! Liked what you did with that one dub trip rythym of mine, looks fun. Need to see if DJ will do texs for ya, mine were a little sub par and repetitive. The disp is too fun for shatty texs to grace it.

If you are interested, I could do some work with some of the corners...

DDMX pretty much inspired me to make this, by telling my not to quit when I didn't like how the track was going and by releasing his master collection. Try not to laugh, if you do at least don't cry. It's nothing amazing but I'm still learning new things, my hardest obstacle so far is getting the jumps and terrain to blend well. This is actually two separate sections, I had them connected before but I think I might add something between them, I veered away from my original track layout a lot. The first 4 singles on the right are actually meant to be 4 singles and not doubles, everything else should be mostly self-explanatory. Still don't have any berms or anything in, didn't think I'd make it this far so I didn't bother adding any. Have no idea what I want to do for terrain either (normal dirt, loam, sand, mud, butterscotch, groomed, rutted etc.). Kinda suck at renders too.

looks good yz, guessing your jumps are all screen layer type, so try this. make your track path, and never delete it! make all your base terrain flat (locally) in sections. it doesn't have to be pretty, all it has to do is blend from section to section. use gradients, warping, bucket fills and point to point marquee. make all your jumps on that. select your track path and delete EVERYTHING outside it, include tails of jumps and all terrain. this leaves you a track width segment on top of a base. if you're super confident with the jumps and corners at this point, flatten the path and jumps. make a new layer and use a large soft brush set to 1% opacity and paint around your track with black and white bringing the surrounding terrain slowly up or down to match the track path and jumps. all natural terrain and flat surfaces to ride on. voila. (reference mx488 disp if needed)
