Re: Red Bud 2008 Open Beta
mxm141, stewart did ride a 250 2-stroke in the '05 season(i believe that was the year). He had a ton of trouble with the lack of bottom end and mud/sand ability of the two stroke. He moved to the 450 in 06, the first year of the KX450F.

HAHAHAHA, I just about fell off my chair reading this. lmao! wow. Stewart never rode a 250 two stroke, were you born yesterday?, do you live in Siberia?, is your roommate a caveman? Stewart cracked his rear shock on that jump. (or his swingarm, can't remember, I was there though) I'm pretty sure you don't know what your talking about, and I've noticed this since you joined these forums. Privateers don't run stock bikes, and more so privateers on 250f's never hit that jump. Some, but not all, of the privateers were doing it on 450f's only. There's some useful information. You can't price factory bikes because they have parts unobtainable by mere mortals. It's not impossible to clear, cut the damn track if you can't do it, but good luck, because people on these forums can do it so I'm gonna have to make it harder. A 250f with 45 horsepower is faster and has more torque than our bikes with 35 horsepower. Combine that 45 horse with the fastest riders in the world and then, and only then, do you have someone clearing the leap. YOU, my friend, and fellow gamer, do not understand what you are talking about. The point of a replica is to "replicate" the actual track, funny thing there. We "replicated" the actual track. I'm not an ass, your ignorant. Please, for your sake, just don't reply to this.mxm141 wrote:i understand completly what your saying and i understand its a replica i just think its stupid to go as far as you cant clear it on a stock bike which i still think with the right stuff you could
i dont think you understand what im saying were never gonna get factory bikes so just saying that you cant clear it on a stock bike is never gonna do any good make it clearable but make it hard dont just go saying im gonna make it impossible to be funny cuase i think that you have to have a $100,000 bike to grow a pair and do a jump
im not trying to argue i just want the track to be real and purposley making it impossible wont do that think of it as if you own red bud they dont go on the track every year and go hmm how can i make this impossible for the privateers
the article you posted
one there more saying thats its harder to set up for the jump but its not any harder to clear if you set up right
two im pretty sure stewart never rode a 250 2 stroke

Re: Red Bud 2008 Open Beta
I personally agree with DDMX's arguement. I've riden the leap back when clay was all laid out and it was still pretty darn hard to clear on a minorly modified cr250f with an amatuer pilot. To be honest, i found out real early that it was better for me to just double it then to pound my body casing the triple.
last season at the bud, there werent many lites guys at all, even with their factory bikes, that were jumping it. Most opted to scrub double and single out for consistency sake. It even looked like the guys on the 450's had to haul ass to clear it.
The size of the leap is fine. The closest ive got so far is landing on the top of the landing. I havent cleared it yet. If anything, add just a tiny bit of friction before it.

haha, there is nothing quite as entertaining as watching people argue on the internet. Especially when one of the people has such unintentionally funny posts.

Re: Red Bud 2008 Open Beta
I actually think this is really good, Its been a while scince I have had this much fun on a track. You did a great job with the track conditions, just rutty and bumpy enough to keep you on your toes. The textures are great as well, redbud has alot of that black loamy dirt. Great job and I hope you finish it, i think its definatly worth it. Here are some sugguestions tho:
- Random placement of burning couches
- The beer bong tower and yager "luge" at that fat guys bus of a motorhome i see every year
-The "show us your tits" spotlight trailor
-And finally a constint audio loop of drunks screaming !!!redbuuuuud!!!
The people that have been in the campin areas on friday and saturday night will know exactly what I am talking about.

HAHAHA, I know exactly what your talking about. Two years ago, after they partied all night and then slept through the races they tried to burn their cooler and their keg while chicks where dancing on the top of the Rent-a-Camper flashing innocent bystanders! HAHA. Reddddddddddddddbuddddddddddddd. We always park right by the leap every year, great entertainment.

Tommy Hahn was tripling it from the INSIDE! (And if I remember correctly, he was a Privateer last season, right?)
EDIT:
Motosport. So it's Satellite.
EDIT2:
Nope. That was the wrong year. He was on a Honda. :/ But he wasn't Geico then, was he?
