Please don't. I would have 15 minute lap times.

Re: Supercross 2010 - Who's making what
I completely agree with garasaki. There is almost always some small changes. Some are not as predictable, like the single after the corner after the finish line on A1. Some are predictable. I see on Atlanta, on the far right of the map, it has the line choice, where there is 5 singles on the inside, and 3 singles on the outside. In my opinion, that looks like it will probably be a sand section. Most of the tracks have sand sections labeled on them, but 3 or 4 don't.Garasaki wrote:The sand section added after the 2nd triple on Ana 1. They are semi predictable - ie when riding that section in mxs I thought "wtf is up with this dead space..." There's usually lots of little changes too.jlv wrote:Could you point out some examples? If it's something that's predictable I'd like to account for it. Otherwise I'll just stick with the plan.Garasaki wrote:bout trying to make a replica before the race, is that they typically make changes to the layout as it's built. Impossible to know about those until after the race takes place.
I suspect on San Deigo, the finish jump and/or jump(s) across the start straight will be different.
IRT Indy, I started that on friday too...................
Also, what is up with the "main" quads on a couple of the tracks? They are drawn up like a main triple, but they are quads. There is 1 on A2, Atlanta, and houston. I am going to build mine on Atlanta, so that you can quad by hitting the berm pretty hard, but also where it won't be nearly impossible. Tough but makeable at the same time I guess lol. Anyone have any thoughts on either of these things?

"Always random" isn't the same as predictable though. It would look really dumb if you put in a sand section and the real track didn't. Even if it's always different you still want to stick to the plan since you don't know which way it will be different.dearnhardtfan7 wrote:I completely agree with garasaki. If it was something like, "first rhythm jump always 10 feet further back than it looks on the map", that would be something you could adjust for. From what I can see the real spacing seems to stay pretty close to the map.
The dirtwurx site says there will be quadable jumps this season.dearnhardtfan7 wrote:Also, what is up with the "main" quads on a couple of the tracks? Beta for Indy:
http://rapidshare.com/files/336978765/I ... 0.saf.html
The only reason i am posting this is so that you guys can give me feedback, so i can make this track better.
Things to consider:
1. Does it flow, the jumps, turns and rythms?
2. Is the scale good?
3. Do my awesome whoops ride good, because there has been a lot of discussion about whooops lately.
The displacement is about 98% done. Bill (Hvpunk) will be doing textures, so don't mind that for now.
Thank you for any feedback.
