Donington Park MXdN 2008 Open Beta

Here is an open beta of my Donington Park. It's unfinished, of course, but I don't plan on changing anything else gameplay wise except the traction, which is still 1.2. You should be able to turn a little easier in the final version when it is 1.6.

It's a saf, so you can't take my shit.

And, be harsh. Don't say Ooh. I like it. Say I like it, but, I don't like how _____

Point out the smallest imperfections you can find. If there is a ama_stake out of place, tell me about it. If there is a part of a jump that has an awkward takeoff or landing, tell me about it. I've rode it so much that I've begun to overlook my errors. Also, watch the real race, and compare, please. Just a couple days ago, Fred pointed out a bump in a corner that I didn't have in.

Don't say anything about breaking bumps though. They aren't going in unless they are man made.

I'll edit this post when it's done downloading. It's about 70% now.

Ok, here you go.

One more thing: The track can't get better if you don't help. Help.

well then my thoughts so far
greatness absolutly the funnest track ever... you have the jump were i really have to work the 250fs to clear some triples or tables and if you do clear them it feels so rewarding like you just cleared a triple right out of a corner
there is only one problem i have as of right now and thats the inside ruts... i just dont like em if i go to the outside ill usually have to hop over the burm of it them my front end will go all funky. not all of the inside ruts are bad tho but 9/10 the flat corners with really long berms to the inside just kill me
but i can fix this problem with some better line choices

Maby some deeper ruts? Or like choppy like if they whent braap---braaap through them, so the ruts are like 2 ruts in one. Get me?

Yeah, I know what you mean.

Like, it's a double turn, in one.

Ok, here's my thoughts. First off the track is pretty fun, not amazingly fun, but pretty fun. There's only so much you can do with replicas because they have to follow the actual track exactly...no creativity. I think that there should be more lines in the corners, crossover lines I think was already said. Also, with the ruts in the corners they need to be deeper and not just upraised. The textures suck but I assume that you are doing something about that no questions asked. Also, the hay bales have their object center in the wrong spot. It is actually in the center causing the bales to be half way in the ground. Change the object center the bottom of the bale. Thats all I have for now.

I added a few more lines for ruts, but I don't want to have it too confusing. I'll try and see what else I can do.

I'll lower some of the ruts, many on the track were man made, and were up only. Textures I planned on leaving. I suck at them, so unless someone wants to donate me some textures, I think they will stay. Bales have been fixed, DJ did that.

If you want all of your hard work to go down the drain, then use those textures. We really have reached new levels in expectations I think as far as textures. Please, if you don't want to do it yourself, recruit someone else to do it. Maybe even wingman or motoboss or Garasaki. I'm sure they could throw together some stuff real quick and it would look way better.
