Re: 09 Sx Tracks
you know, someone has to do those by hand, and they are rendered in 3d, which means that they are built in the same way that we make our tracks, a disp and some texs. I wonder who makes those?

that's what i was thinking and how cool would it be if someone could give us those tracks for 3ds then we would have like exact replicas

Re: 09 Sx Tracks
I remember asking about them a while ago.
From what I heard, it's tough to do because of collision issues.
Has that changed, Brent?

No, nothing collision wise has changed. Therefore an over under bridge would be impossible as it stands. Oh well, nothing says you can't make the track cross without a bridge there.

Re: 09 Sx Tracks
You could do a bridge with the sphere collisions. It would be a little bumpy but it would work for the most part. The only problem would be if you fell on it the rider wouldn't know he was on the ground, so he wouldn't pick up the bike. But I can fix that easily enough.

Re: 09 Sx Tracks
The spheres are too slippery though, even with friction turned up. Thats why my FMX ramps failed

Re: 09 Sx Tracks
perhaps you could do a dirt upramp and downramp, and just have like supports and the top bit as the the model, that way, unless you badly case it, you wont touch the model.

instupitious.

Re: 09 Sx Tracks
Wow, Anaheim 3 looks brutal! The whole track is either rhythm section or whoops pretty much.
And i wouldn't doubt that Rainbow Studios (RonRon) is still making those renders. They used to do it back when MCM2 was hot.
