Increase Tracks Ambient

Hey guys, i started my track, turnig good thought, is Heerde,NL
Since DJ post the Hybrid texture, the tracks looks really better than before, is one stair up to AMAZING ambient
but, to increase the ambien of the track, why not rain? i was thinking about putting a image in all the track in Gif format. (is not easy thought, like minimap, RMP, etc) that shows in the track, as it was on MVA
Gif texture for objects: the water texture from DJ's Crow Nest is amazing, but if we make an hybrid Project: Reflections + Gif Texture (for rain, like rain pounds as MVA)
About the splashs I dont care, i think its difficult than the other points
I hope you like the Idea and please dont say "go to play MVA" :lol: lol, but I reckon MVA have good graphic stuffs that we could apply to make this game better.

there wasnt mud, but at the national was mud (MX1-MX2) PEACE

The game cant load gif's, instead the game uses .seq images for its animated images. Unfortunately, these can only be made in linux.

If we could make these animations, getting the rain drops on the water would be easy. But making the actual rain itself would be hard. The only way you could really do it is by placing large billboards everywhere. But that wouldnt look right.

But making the track have puddles as if it had just rained, that would be easy. Except it would be the same without splashes when you go through it.

i see, about the .seq files, isnt a way to make in windows? i mean, we could make some images .png, and transform to .seq with some program thought

Well, we could make a few png's, and send them to JLV. I'm sure he'll be happy to convert them to a .seq file

i know it's off topic but that track ain't good for 85 :lol: they come no where haha, even jeffrey herlings don't go fast so that track looks tought like hell

As rough as that track looks, it looks so fun to ride! I think the rain would be a cool idea, I'm not really sure how MvA uses it's rain. I think the water animations would be cool, if that was figured out, maybe even advanced particles could be used then too.
