lighting file?

Post by karlwb »

i just made a terrain map i'm happy with using L3DT,and i need to alter the direction of which vertical terrain faces are lit best. i'm using the lighting file from the blank_track, the north west faces are darkest and south east facing are lightest, i need the opposite for this map. can i change the values in the lighting file to achieve this?

The easiest thing to do would be rotating the terrain map by 180 degrees. Unless you have already placed the decals.

If thats the case, then if you are going to change the direction of the sun, you will probably need a new skybox, so the sun matches the light position. If you dont really care about that, just add a - to the 1st and 3rd value of the sun vector in lighting.
