So who is going to be first on this one?
I think it'd be good for getting an accurate layout spacing-wise, but for building a track it wouldn't suffice. I think the inaccuracies when it drew the ground would prevent any good base for terrain, at least for the amount of time you'd put in. Enduro courses might benefit from this but I don't think it'll be a tool for moto tracks.
I knew of the sandbox guy but didnt know someone had done a drone 3d scan.
Also, I think this isn't an SX or MX kind of replicate. Would be really cool for the AI point recognition to get better so you could just take some 2 hour Go Pro footage of an Enduro/Trail and have it imported that way. MX and SX with satellite stuff already have really good base imagery and are too jumpy/unstable to get any meaningful references from a camera like this.

Little preview of a track I've been working on in my free time! It's not close to being finished by any means but thought I would share my progress anyway. (sorry the quality is so low, the original file wasn't nearly as grainy so I don't know what happened )
Hope to release it this weekend! Must pack it plus one more version without the bikes on the track

Didn't know where to post this but did you guys know that you can save pretty good resolution images straight from google earth? Would this be better resolution than just using print screen button?

Yes, I use the high res images and the stitching method when I do replica overlays. It creates a pretty nice image. It's even better if you make it an 8k image then split it up into four 4k decals in sim.
