Re: Upcoming Objects
This is a team semi, with awning and everything. Collision is fixed although you can't get extremely close to it. base skin and wireframe are included.

Re: Upcoming Objects
open the statues file with wordpad for whatever track you want to put it in and type this (or paste it)
[1000.000000 0.000000 1000.000000] 0.000000 @blank/semi.jm @blank/semi.PNG @blank/semi.shp
blank is the name of the track, just replace it with whatever the trackname is. ie: @Dallas 2008/semi.jm
that will place the object at the location x = 1000 y = 0 z = 1000 with 0 rotation. the object file, the skin file, the collision file. once in their you can change its location or rotation around the y axis anyways so the center of the map thing is only just a starting point. duplicate with "d"
[1000.000000 0.000000 1000.000000] 0.000000 @blank/semi.jm @blank/semi.PNG @blank/semi.shp

Re: Upcoming Objects
here's a complete breakdown.
>start, mx simulator, mxsimulator personal folder
>open track folder
>right click statues
>paste [1000.000000 0.000000 1000.000000] 0.000000 @blank/semi.jm @blank/semi.PNG @blank/semi.shp below the last line of the other objects. (make sure there are two spaces at the end of the file)
>change blank to whatever the name of the folder is, which is also your track
>if you renamed the name of the skin or saved it as ppm, change @"trackname"/semi.PNG accordingly
>put all of those files, semi.jm, semi.PNG, and semi.shp into the track folder also if you haven't done that.
>the object should show up at the center of the map
what track are you doing it for?

Re: Upcoming Objects
I wouldn't use the capitalized PNG extension. If you make sure it is capitalized everywhere (including the filesystem) it will work correctly, but it's easier to just always use lowercase and not have to remember when to capitalize and when not to.ddmx488 wrote:open the statues file with wordpad for whatever track you want to put it in and type this (or paste it)

Re: Upcoming Objects
jlv, i'll start using the lowercase extension from now on.
mulishatroop, send me the png semi and i'll put it in for you, but i also suggest you keep trying. this was the first object that i tried to get into the game and it took me about an hour trying different combinations with numbers and whatnot. send me the skin, but the rewards of learning it yourself are self fulfilling. just try those steps, make sure all of the names are exactly correct and case sensitive. it should work.
