removing decals from ground

hey guys i know this is a bit of a silly question but how to i get rid of decals.

The 'x' key while hovering above their center will delete them. Or if you need to delete a bunch you can delete the lines in the decals file.

Capital x will get rid of decals in a radius based on how far zoomed in or out you are. normal x will delete one decal.
