overlay issue - ground is black

My overlay and terrain.png is scaled to 2049 x 2049

I changed the shading.PPM to 2049 2049

And my terrain and decals look like this
10 0.858955 0.000000 .000000
[880 880] 0.000000 1760 1.000000 @horn/overlay.png

I've tried so many different things and starting over but I can't figure out where I'm going wrong

I followed this YouTube tutorial

I skipped the height map part because I was going to do that on my own and sketchup is outdated

This would probably be an issue with your shading.ppm file.

Try downloading this 2049 template I made and replace the terrain.hf and decal files with your files.

Also, just for general tidiness, decals should be sized a factor of 2, so in this case 2048x2048.
