No Erode tileinfo?

Post by Donut MX »

Aight so I've poked around some folders and tried a couple different 'no erode' tiles to use on a custom track. I'm throwing the tile on most of the track aside from a few corners, and letting my 300 IQ Elon Musk tuned AI riders groove out said corners. Unfortunately, every 'no erode' tile I've found still erodes and it ruins parts of the track that I want untouched. Granted, it erodes significantly less, but its still there. Is there a tileinfo out there that 100% prevents erode??

Out of the 3 I've tried, this setting has allowed the least deformation:

name No Erode
friction 1.0 0
friction 1.2 1.5
friction 1.1 15
friction 1.2 30
roll_resist 40.0 60.0 35.0
roll_resist 50.0 70.0 45.0
erode_depth 2.5
erode_lower 50.0
erode_upper 150.0
erode_displacement 2.5
erode_radius 5.0
erode_inner_depth 1.25
erode_inner_radius 2.0
erode_min_slope -0.75
erode_max_slope 0.75
erode_off_speed 10.0
erode_on_speed 50.0
erode_slip_base_scale 1.0
erode_slip_scale 1.0
erode_slip_lower 0.0
erode_slip_upper 5.0
erode_downhill_scale 0.8
erode_limit 0.00 1.0 2.25
erode_limit 0.75 0.7 1.7
erode_limit 1.5 0.3 0.75
erode_limit 2.5 0.3 0.3
erode_lateral_scale 0.025

Also, I tried changing "erode depth" to 0. I have no idea what I'm doing, but it didn't help.

I would try just using this

name No Erode
friction 1.0 0
friction 1.2 1.5
friction 1.1 15
friction 1.2 30
roll_resist 40.0 60.0 35.0
roll_resist 50.0 70.0 45.0

Get rid of all the erode lines and that “should” do the trick, not 100% on it though.
If you enjoy what I make, donate to the cause 8) It's very much appreciated!!

Thx for the reply! but that one still erodes too
