MX Simulator

finally got a basic landscape made on l3dt and put into mx sim and then i painted the whole landsccape with the dirt decal but i can make out where my track is going to go so how to i paint the entire landscape back to grass so i can draw my track?

If you have notepad++, just open your decals file in it, and go search>replace, and replace say dirt.png with grass.png. You will need a grass texture though

where do i get the grass texture from?

Same place as you got the dirt texture from i guess?

i don't understand what you mean, i read your tutorial and you said draw your track using the games standard tiles so being an idiot i painted all of my landscape but now i want to draw a track and make some jumps so the grass what showed up on the blank track i want back and use that to paint over the dirt and then i want to actually paint a track over the grass if you get me? is there an easy way in the ediutor to change this?

Are you just using tiles? Just paint the whole thing with grass tiles and then draw your track with the dirt tiles

ok but how do i get the grass tiles? im using the tilemap edit thingy on the editor to draw my track but i need the dirt to change to grass, where and how do i change it please?

Just click on the tile picture on the side panel

there is a little box that shows which texture you are on. Just click that box until you see it change to grass.
