how do you put textures onto your track and how and where do you get them from?

also if i use photoshop after i have made my track to make ruts how do i make them? (step by step )

and lastly whats the quickest way of making whoops?

first please use the search ability second idk how to do anything about textures third i know how do to ruts.
use photoshop
open your terrain.png there
then use the brush tool and the correct size, strenght and opacity so they dont get too deep.
start the track in mxs then use smooth strenght 0.00 to refresh the terrain.
fourth idk how to make whoops thats why i dont make em

sorry i have used the searcgh to find a little something out about the textures but it still doesn't help. thanks for the information frederick, just as a guide what settings for the brush strength, size and opacity just for a starting point please?

sorry for all the questions but how do you copy a statue becuase i'm trying to line my track with some stakes and don't know how to get more then one. (already tried searching)

size depends of how big your track is, opacity... i use between 3 and 10 depending on long sand ruts or if its hardpacked jump ruts

press "d" to multiply statues

thanks for the link but i have read it and itstill doesn't help though dj because i tried just copying your example of the co-ordinates and then renamed it to blank/sand.png and i had a sand.png file and my track is called blank, went into the editor, clicked on decals and went to where it should be and there was nothing?

well youre doing something wrong then, copy and paste what you have written into a post.

i typed into notepad++ [100 50] 0.0 20.000000 1.000000 @blank/sand.png and when i went to 100 50 it wasnt there.

If you only have one line in the file, make sure down the side, that it goes up to the number 2, as notepad++ needs and extra line for some reason.
