JRE V2 gear not working properly

Post by musser233 »

Hi all first post on here but I lurk the forums like a dirty rat.

Anyways finally getting back into sim and modeling and what not but, i wanted the sg12 boots on the v2 of jre’s model. Put em on combined the UV maps applied rotation and scale and exported the jm and everything all goes fine. Now when i try to get the gear in game the jersey and boots dont line up at all whatsoever. Pants work and look fine but the rest looks like the UV map is shot but i know for a fact it isnt. Anyone run into this before or know how to fix it?

Make sure you don't have a saf file in your folder that contains the same name as the new jm you're using.

You’re using P2sta model jms with JreV2 model psd, which most of the time means you havent bought jre’s model or the aftermarket boots…

I mean i most certainly own both the boots and rider models. Even sent it to Tyler and it worked for him but still wont work for me. Not sure if its blender or the export script not working for me but obviously something that i have no idea what it is. Bikes work fine but not rider.

Theres also no possibility im using either jre or p2sta jm’s when im extracting a fresh JM from blender so. Again either blender or the export script is fucked on my end.

Your gear texture is missing a line in the name.

It needs to be something like "rider_body-Test SG12-color"

The fact that this literally fixed everything is actually mind boggling and makes me literally wanna drive my head into my desk 🥴

The fact you couldn't figure out how to properly post a quoted comment on the forum reassures my initial assessment. At least show us the names of your files after you renamed then again.
