i did get the ai riders going fairly well, averaging 4.30-5.00 mins (best lap),but since i changed one corner they had to be redone cos then they were going off-piste and straight through the trees  so now they go exploring a bit again and need more lines put down, when i've put some more laps in and get them going quicker perhaps i'll post an updated "expert lines" file. at the mo i average 3.55 - 4.05 mins and they do 5.00 min+ grrrr.... :( but they will get a lot quicker the more you ride it,i give 'em a lap head start for fun :D

i've made a 7 lap demo, tried to keep it clean but there's a few crashes,if anyone can do a quicker 7 lapper can they post their demo in this thread,it'd be nice to see and for me to race against :D and maybe learn some new lines.
demo file deleted-was old rider model

yeh go ahead,if you can drum up enough interest, that'd be great, over how many laps? i haven't raced yet so i don't know how you operate without multiplayer,i guess you set a date and everyone sends a demo then someone splices it,or are there more rules to it?

That's pretty much it.
Everyone chooses a gate, sends in a race, and one of us splices it.

Pretty simple, actually.

i was just wondering if you'd made a way somehow so everyone has just 1 crack at it,to make it more edgy, rather than multiple goes and send in your best

It's more of an honor system, but we all abuse that.
I suck no matter what, so I usually just go with the "run and done" theory.
Fred's pretty good about just one run policy, too.

I did that for about 2 races, and then I realised that wasn't how it worked out. :D

But I can do a 1 run only, we do it all the time for MSN and it works perfectly.

Actually the "run and done" races we do over msn are the ones with the best battles, Voutare I think our donnington race had the most passes done by 2 racers lmao :D
