Re: Gasper Hills
Did whoever put it in the server edit the track by accident? This doesn't make sense to me....

I'm trying to join the fammx.mxscentral.com:19807 server for a race in 30 minutes on this track, so whoever runs that server, chime in haha.

No they didn't... I'm talking to them now. Blake Shiman just got the track and got on..no problems. There are several people on the server.

Re: Gasper Hills
I would guess that he had another track with a commonly named object/shape interfering. Something like stand.shp or tree.shp... I think I remember this happening in the past. But there's also a really good chance I could be talking out of my ass.

Re: Gasper Hills
Wow, you really are mx sim's resident mythbuster. I'm sure that is probably the problem. I think I have stands.jm or bale.jm that would cause it. I didn't know that would cause problems. What should I do from now on to keep this from happening?Phathry25 wrote:I would guess that he had another track with a commonly named object/shape interfering. Re: Gasper Hills
JMs wouldn't cause a mismatch though, it would have to be the SHP file. I have to reiterate there is a good chance I am just making all this up in my head though, so I would wait for confirmation from DJ or JLV before you went making an drastic changes to your tracks.

Re: Gasper Hills
It references one of your SX tracks (an outdoor one)
If when they put it on the server, they didn't have that track, anyone with the track won't be able to connect.
If when they put it on the server, the DID have that track, everyone has to have that track.

Re: Gasper Hills
Not really. It was about 90% photoshop. I used the editor to tweak a few jumps to play around with the editor. I haven't ever used it before.

Re: Gasper Hills
I like the track. Takes timing and is technical. Once I started to time the jumps I started to find the flow.
Of course it looked solid.
I still think I'm a bit more of a fan of the more open style nationals, but this was a cool change of pace.
