Trying to find good pics of the actual jumps at SX. Anyways, I think Chex has them pretty close. As far as rounded but still steep.

Ams for Ax and Pros for sx is good imo. Doubt the ams would like that though.

Re: 3 and a half replicas
If it were me running the show Id let anyone race AX just like IRL. Except I wouldnt allow pros to race both SX and AX, gotta choose 1 or the other for that weeks events. and AX only for AMs. This would be a good way for AMs to prove themselves against fast people to earn a pro card to race SX. Who would be the Tyler Bowers of sim? Win the AX cship and then show everyone what you got in the last few SX races.m121c wrote:Ams for Ax and Pros for sx is good imo. Theres so many people now that theres no way you can offer organized racing to everyone anyways. Lets keep it sim and follow the real life series imo. 03 offers full gates of racing almost every night of the week. Server is always packed. So those that are too slow still get to ride the tracks with full gates.
sorry got way off topic i think.

Re: 3 and a half replicas
To continue Barrington's thread jack...
I don't know how hard it would be to write a script to run it, but when we do our AX championship here, there's daytime heats to get into the night show.
So if 50 people sign up, they run 5 quali heats of 10, seeded randomly, and then take the top 4 from each heat to the night show heat races. 5 and 6th go to an LCQ for the last 4 spots.
If 100 sign up, they just run 10 heats and take the top 2 to the night show and 3rd to the LCQ.
It might be more fun to run a heat than spend 14 hours trying to get a hot lap in, at least for the AM classes. It could be done on another server on another night ahead of time and then you'd have your 24 riders in each class for heat races whenever you decide to have the AX "am night"
Just a thought anyway

A script is possible to do it, but you still need someone there to police in and make sure nothing breaks. It's tough to commit to 17 SX events a year with the current schedule, adding amateurs already made it overwhelming.
I think the Am AX thing is cool on paper, but if I was an amateur I'd hate it.
BTW, on the jump shapes Stephen, they are Markham's, I just use and abuse them on my stuff, but I agree and that's why I like them.

Remind me when you see me on TS and I'll ask Markham if he cares. I have it formated to where a release wouldn't be hard to put together.barrington314 wrote:Can you, or have you posted an updated template? Id like to play around with them.checkerz wrote:
