2015 Baltimore Mud

Post by Motospun »

Thank you to Checkerz for letting me make a mud version of his 2015 Baltimore Sx track. He said I'm allowed to use it and host a race on it as long as I give credit, put the download up for free, and don't host it on EMF. I redid the heightmap, decals, tilemap, skybox, and timing gates. The skybox is taken from Sorketorp and the stadium is taken from Niklas sandbox SX. I can't seem to find where I got everything else since I started the track months ago but thank you to whoever made the tilemap, statues, and decals.

Just a warning, this definitely isn't a track for everyone. It's meant to be challenging and I'd assume most people won't like it.

Ruts aren't deep enough, my head should be underground.

Well that was the plan as well as using the plywood tilemap on the whole track but my friends who beta tested talked me out of it

Not sure what mud you ride in real life but mud isn't grippy. If you ride around on the flat start straight you'll realize the tileinfo really isn't that slick. The track feels slick because it's hard to stay straight in the ruts, if you cross rut then you will slip. I have played the track with regular traction and you still slip around in the ruts.
