Braden, look at RedBud. Most of the turns with 3 lines was 1 line dominate. They don't work (anymore).

Granted 2017 had great racing with 3 line turns but those track's aren't comparable to what we have now. That method doesn't and won't work for erode. We've been trying for how many years now.

I think 3-4 rut corners work pretty well. The GP's have been host to some of the best racing so far this year IMO and almost every corner on those tracks have 3-4 ruts. Ruts are not going to be the dominant factor for different line choice when it comes to erode, it will depend on how rough it gets through the bumps into the rut. Those are at least the things that I consider when building an outdoor.

I disagree. When there's less ruts, but bigger in size, people find the fastest one in qualifying, and transfer that to the race. It's been that way since 2018. That's how people used to get qualifying laps. Once that 1 line gets rough enough, sure they might move 1 line over but IMO the way WW had ruts, there wasn't 1 single dominate line everyone hotlapped (in the tight 4+ rut corners). Because they were all pretty much even in size, and technical to get in and stay in. I mentioned in the TV feedback some of the lines werent used from being too close together but for that size of ruts I think it would have helped a little. Not for WW size ruts. Those have to be close together.

I also disagree with GPs having better racing. They feel way faster and less technical. Less creativity needed. Sure raw speed gets rewarded but this isn't Supercross. Call me biased but I don't think that's how Outdoors should be.
