You do have a point. That's always been the struggle. How do you keep people from just holding it wide open. But I think I've matured from that thought process since I've had any power or say in how whoops should be,

I used to request more consistent fun tracks when I was racing and you were building super realistic techy stuff for the 2015 SX
And now that I'm a spectator, I'd like to see more realistic, techy builds to really showcase the talents of the top guys in the game
I do understand the tracks need to be playable for everyone, but its cool to watch the races and see the top 1% doing the seemingly impossible so easily similar to IRL
Haha. I think I remember one, maybe 2015 A2 (was that the replica to like an early 2000s Anaheim?), where I put in a really hard set of whoops and everyone was like "don't do that" and I was all "they need to be more realistic so people cant just blitz them" or something similar I'm sure. How the times have changed.
I'm still all for the rest of the track being as realistic as possible.
Just not the whoops.

It was 2014. Rest of the track sucked
but I actually still like this whoop set. The second set, before the finish.

dcope need to quit the rf job and leave the community free, it one of the worst track we've seen, everything is bad, jumps, decals, erode (cant even see it even with playdough)

What was up with the decals tonight? Normally play dough is just simple with no texture to it.

Track was not as bad as everybody says it was but the decals and erode were questionable

Houston was my favorite track so far in terms of realism. Blend the textures of the previous rounds with the terrain of Houston and you have a winner imo. I only play time trial though for what it's worth. The larger tracks in rounds 1-4 probably race better with 20 people.

Playdough is just a flat color overlay on top of the decals. The on track decal for Houston was a bit stronger than other rounds so it would have shown through the playdough more than usual. I'll make sure it gets dialed back a bit next time we use the Houston base decal.

Best track of the season. I really liked the whoops, small enough where you aren't immediately dead if you drop a wheel but big enough where I think it separated levels of skill. I think that's the direction you should go instead of the big burly whoops we saw at like San Diego.
