Drainage (Final Fix + Track Map)

Post by sethypeety »

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ:
If you have already downloaded the track a redownload is required, massive shoutout to JLV for fixing the statues and timing gates files, there was a typo that was causing a crash on Linux and this reupload fixes that and adds a track map. On future projects I'll do my best to be more vigilant so I don't end up having to go through the same thing I did with this track and reupload it twice because of very minor mistakes on my part. Apologies to anyone that has to redownload but I thank you for your patience  If you have downloaded the stand alone fix from JLV's link in the comments then you are good to go and a download to the map is going to be down in the comments if you want it.

Original post:
This is my newest track "Drainage"! I am very excited to get this one out, this is an idea I've had for a while and I am happy to see it finished. The file size is VERY large and there are quite a few files in the folder not being used but are important for near future plans. As always let me know what you think, all feedback is always appreciated.

I unlocked the first post if you want to update the link. I like the normal map on the track edge texture!

Thank you, I fixed the video and the link, I'd appreciate if you deleted the comments I posted with them.

I had a problem with backslashes in the filenames preventing stuff from loading in Linux so I had to make this update: drainage_backslash_fix.zip

Sorry about that, on future tracks I'll make sure there aren't any backslashes, I mostly type stuff in manually but some stuff I copy/paste from the file directory. Are we racing this track on Thursday and will this fix be required? Also should I update the post with this ?

Actually, give me a chance to make a map for it then you can do one update with the map and backslashes fixed.

Post has been updated with a link to the fixed track and a track map, here is the track map if you already have the fix and want the map too without another 400mb dl

Nice! Thanks gents. I used to do the "Lazy Guy Map" by using an aerial view. It worked for a couple of tracks, but not an elegant solution. See you Thursday!
