MX Simulator

Thought I might as well enter this in the track contest seeing it hasn't officially closed yet. I've been working on this track for the past week, and here it is, Crows Nest State Forest Enduro. Its got everything you could want in an enduro (minus the logs and rocks, I'll add them later if we get an updated collision system). I didn't use any tree models on this track, because I have the feeling this terrain will put enough strain on some computers as it is (the billboard trees look good enough anyway).

I recommend taking a sighting lap, get to know how the track flows, as it might be hard too see where the track goes with the shadows in place. You will get used to it though.

Wow the water is amazing, too bad mxs doesnt have any water splash thingy yet, but it still looks awesome. Im having alot of fun riding this track.
I think I'll host a enduro race (unless someone else does it)

When I went through the water, I picked my feet up off the ground. :/

And, I think I squinted excepting a splash.


Anyway, really nicely done. Some of the ruts were a little iffy due to the scale, but the disp looked really nice on it with the editor.


One problem was it's hard to figure out whre the track leads too. You know? It's like you need to put everywhere because of turns and shit.

I've never rode an enduro in real life though, so I have no idea what to expect..

thw water looked great and the whole track was fun this track would be great for online cause you could loose a lead so fast on that track

You can tell a lot of work went into this track, and is very well done.

I love the textures, and the scale is amazing, i can see how this will be fun online. (unless your like me and your stuck on the uphill ruts for an hour).
The track looks very real, and the water is incredible i didnt know you could add refraction to objects.

Overall i was super impressed.

Yeah, thought it might lag up some computers, hence the lack of 3d trees. Turning off lens flare might stop the lag hits.

Nah they would be impossible to replicate. The track layouts change every year

DJ i would like to kno your settings for L3DT cause everything i make in there is doodie and nowhere near as promising as what you got so just drop me a pm or msn watevas better for you just kinda let me in
