Re: James Stewart riding Honda?!?!
GP is a joke, thank to that damn youthstream who's going to make it sink to the bottom. There should be qualification to the races not payin your spot. Thats why our swedish hopes never become something cuz they can never afford a full season. And they just doesn't go over to america and take the chance.
Motocross is most popular in US then in any other country world-wide. Which makes money rise, and sponsors stepping up due all that attention supercross or nationals have. I never watch GPs, but I watch ama series like your americans... GPs sucks watching, just hate it.

Its a good job redbull are parting with youthstream and the gp,s and concentrating on their own series then. Their series is on now called the red bull pro nationals but it is only at uk tracks at the moment but they are thinking of moving it to europe which should be a good thing.

I agree the GPs are not that fun to watch, I only watch the MX2 because of Jeffrey Herlings. MX1 is mostly downright boring, the field in the GPs is not nearly as deep as in the nationals.
I also think the slightly shorter races allows the riders to go for it a bit more, I mean in the GPs the MX2 of guys from age 15-21 are riding as long as the 450 class in the nationals.
a lot of things are wrong with the GPs and I think thats one of the reasons so many MX2 riders in the GPs have plans of going to America.

I agree, it would be the worst thing ever for the sport if they stopped running the nationals. Nationals bring out the true MX fans. Supercross brings out the people who want to watch pros on a track. SX comes to cities that don't have AMA Nationals, most SX races not the CA ones of course. But they bring SX to CA because there is such a huge fan base in Cali....which equals $. Does anyone else find this funny...Back in the day in SX they had Bud Light beer as a sponsor, they said no more alcoholic companies can indorse this sport(Looks bad on the sport), and jagermeister is an exception nowadays. Does anybody know who makes Monster Energy? the full title sponsor of the AMA Monster Energy Supercross Series. Anheuser-Busch makes Monster...anyone find that odd? However, as of lately they might get bought out by coca cola.yzmxer608 wrote:SX is fake MX. It would be the worst thing ever for the sport if the nationals were ever not run.
