Well, I have been at this for a while now. But lets face it, im stuck. As some of you know, I have a desktop. Its pretty good, but it isn't good enough for what I need. Im looking to build a new computer and go racing with it. But here is the overlook.
What I have:
Memory: 3.00 GB
Processor: Intel (R) Core (TM)2 Duo CPU T5450 @1.66GHz - 1.67GHz
System Type: 32-Bit operating system.
Video/Graphics Card: GeForce 8700M GT/PCI/SSE2
What it can do in MXS:
- Play about 15 players with NO MODELS OR SKINS at 80-100 FPS on maxed settings, no roost.
- With Models and skins it could go to 8-10 players depending on the track and the models being used.
- 100-120 FPS max settings with roost and everything on single player.
- Lowered graphics can run about 20 people (depending on the track) with 30-40 FPS.
- Lags when starting up the game.
- Runs out of virtual memory easily sometimes.
What I need a PC to do in MXS:
-Graphics card that can play about 20-40 players with models and skins around 100 FPS on maxed settings with roost.
-Processor that can play any physically demanding track with no lag (ex. glen helen, hangtown max res, conifer gultch, etc.)
-No Lag, period.
-Have a lot of virtual memory for demanding textures, skins, tracks and models.
Budget:
$600 - $850.
If anyone can hook me up to parts and prices that fit my needs and budget, that would be awesome.
Thanks.
What do I need for a reasonable PC?

Do you have those specs? If so how does it do for you?

No I don't, but if plays Crysis 2 well, I'm fairly confident it will handle this just fine.Zane_Mx#88 wrote:Do you have those specs? If so how does it do for you?

That's actually a decent build, gonna have to bookmark that for when I get money to build one.
