when i was too big for my 85 i got a 150 and it only lasted like 11 months haha. depending how tall you are get a 250 or 125

Re: 100 or 150
I got too big for my 85 and got a KTM 105. But I still have a 125 so I'm set.
But it really comes down to 2 stroke or 4. Whichever you like.

Re: 100 or 150
I would say get a 100. 150's are high maintenance and IMO very boring to ride. My friend had an 08 bigwheel that he bought brand new. He outgrew it in 6 months. during that 6 months, he adjusted the valves a total of 5 or 6 times.

Re: 100 or 150
I dont understand people going from 85cc to a 150F. They race in the same class for a reason. They're almost the same size. And 100 is such a small difference from an 85cc and a 125cc it's not even worth that money. For once, I'll actually agree with what die said but simply suggest you get a 125cc. Then you wont be changing bikes so frequently and burning cash.
Hell, I rode 85cc for so long, I had to take a year off because I was too big for it and saved cash to go straight to a 250cc 2 stroke. Skipped the "Lites" bikes altogether. Now I have a bike I wont need to get rid of until it seriously becomes ancient technology (its a 2005 Suzuki).
To make a long story short, get a 125. 100's and 150F's are in that useless "transition" spot that you dont need.

Re: 100 or 150
pls if the 85 is too small dont buy an 150f! It's exactly the same(if you're talking about 19" 16" wheels?). So go with the 125 or 250f

Re: 100 or 150
125* get an 06+ YZ125 or an 05/06 KX125. Or even an 07 CR125. RM's had terrible clutch baskets.
Re: 100 or 150
a TM144 or a KTM 125.

Tm144, husky 125 w/144 kit. or a 150sx.
Re: 100 or 150
250f , I jumped all the way from a little VERY under powered CRF70F to A radical CRF250F It was an easy jump, That thing is a puppy
I can pick it completely up off the ground, and as long as you're around 5'5 you're good but I'm 5'5, 150lbs and pretty damn strong but as long as you have height and weight you should be good with a 250F
