Found this in ATT-Yahoo news:

Pretty funny if you ask me, don't know how someone could do that, one of the most meaningful things to happen to the program and it's erased.

Seems like a really easy reason to say, the moon landing was real.... but we lost it and all we have is the Hollywood version(original)
