Yeah, but you get high ping in any games. Surely they should be doing a better job than what one man can do. Most of Codemasters games have shitty multplayer. Dirt 2 is probably the only one I've seen that works alright.

My favourite for online and single player is Live For Speed. It's arguably the best driving/racing simulator available and has free updates including new cars and tracks with a new tyre physics update coming out soon. The only drawback is that the graphics aren't up to the standard set by Grid etc, but having played grid and dirt and rfactor, it really doesnt matter. The depth of the gameplay is amazing, with a learning curve similar to MXS. Theres no perfect way to drive, like real life; you can drift or you can keep it true through the bends. I strongly recommend it. Though you do really need a steering wheel with force feedback to get the full experience.
