2025 SX Discussion
Saturday is Race Day!
So, we have a new theme song coming, hopefully not as awful as "Get-A-You-Ride-On". Anybody hear this song yet?
As always, my horse in this race is Justin Hill on Tedder.
Who's your boy? PLEASE SAY ANYONE OTHER THAN DEEGAN!

Nice try Diddy seems fitting.

Re: 2025 SX Discussion
You had me tweaking with Saturday is raceday, its not for another two weeks lol.
Has there even been announcements for 250 coasts yet? Rumors were heavy the Lawrences were unhappy with bike at Paris but only Hunter showed it so I have no idea if that's true. Coop wasn't all that competitive with Jett then got hurt in AUS so who knows how much that set him back. So, I like ET and Sexton, Kenny also was looking good.

West coast as far as ik
Star- Deegan, Davies, Mosiman
HRC- Shimoda
KTM- Beaumer
Club- Schock, Reynolds
GG - Ryder D (i think i saw that somewhere)
Im stoked to see how davies does over the season, to me it says a lot that star is putting a rookie on west coast. Its gonna be a tight season i think but deegan prolly has the upper hand as of right now to me. He looks to be flowing very well right now and his confidence is through the roof after outdoors and smx titles.
450 Im still gonna go with jett. He has so much natural talent so idk how much the bike will effect him. he tends to just make it work. I also think that tomac will have a better season this year but based off the past the season will start slow and not impressive. Jcoop may put in some early top 5s consistently.
My sleeper pick for the year tho? imma have to go with avery long. That kid got fucked over at the end of his armature career and has something to prove this year

Really stoked to see how Prado sticks it in there and mixes it up! As usual, don't get hurt.

I'm stoked about both my boys, Hill and Prado. A great first race for Jorge, and Hill stickin' it in there pretty well. The Jett and Tomac drama was good tonic for A1. Excited that Mookie didn't get taken out. Bring on Sandy Eggo™.

Re: 2025 SX Discussion
Gotta love the triple crown races! Coop almost dug deep enough and Sexton's consistency takes the cake! Unfortunate foot dab for Jett, might be riding in a knee brace, if possible? Davies showing near-veteran composure while JuJu stepped on his own landmines! Deegan reaching for, and thumbing through the excuse book again. Next weekend is chore time while we reflect on our picks and how things are stacking up for us/them. Can't believe we're already on to an East-coast race.

Re: 2025 SX Discussion
Watching Deegan ramble to Casper the friendly ghost while Davies did his best not to acknowledge it was comedically uncomfortable. Seeing Justin Hill finish 6th was pretty sweet and I'm eager to see what Levi Kitchen looks like but it does kinda suck that Jett is gonna be out the rest of the season, I hate to see anyone get injured especially when they are one of the top guys.TeamHavocRacing wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 4:20 pm Gotta love the triple crown races! Oh shit! I only saw Jett post about getting imaging done. That really sucks. It was a great 4 races with all cylinders firing. We dropped a jug.sethypeety wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2025 8:26 amJett is gonna be out the rest of the season, I hate to see anyone get injured especially when they are one of the top guys.

Once again robbed of Jett vs Eli. It looked so good too.

Re: 2025 SX Discussion
I particularly enjoyed watching Jett plan his passes on El Hombre, in order to not provoke the bear. I'm bummed Prado didn't pan out after A1, he looked epic in those first few laps, jumping into the lead momentarily. Always dynamic shifts in the roster. At least it hasn't been a runaway like back in the Villo days.

Well, well, well! In the span of a week it's become an old man's game! Really shapes the unique complexion of this season!

Re: 2025 SX Discussion
Eli has a broken fibula? Toughed-out the main to try and keep rolling! Out for rest of season with Jett too. Both from their own mistakes. Weird! The attrition rate is picking up pace. Who will step up to fill those shoes? Mookie? Chase? Coop?
