Re: Photography
What you wanna do with the lens? Because if you have all the zoom ranges you have I would say, stick to your material you have right now. And if need something to fill the gaps in your zoom range. Try to invest in a waterproof lens, if that's too expensive, just stick to the cheap ones without the fancy glasses.
I work right now with the 18-55mm nikor kitlens and a 55-300mm standard one with VR though. But it's still less than 300 euro.
I mean, I wouldn't invest in a 2000 euro lens as long I'm not making enough money with photo's. Ofcourse those lenses are better, but learning to work with cheaper material isn't a bad thing at all. AND if you're a good photographer you'll be able to make good photo's, even if you have only 1 cheap lens.

Thanks a lot man!! I'm pretty dissapointed about the lack of depth tooPumaxcs wrote:You may want to reread that because I have never heard of that. This photo is my favorite of this topic and possibly the best B&W moto shot I've ever seen. Besides the timing of the shot the contrast between white and black make it really interesting. Only thing I wish was different is the people in the stand were slightly blurred but the contrast for this type of shot was spot on.wyster12 wrote:![]()

Re: Photography
dude the San diego picture looks pretty awesome, if you can send it in wallpaper resolution, that would be good! keep it up
Re: Photography
Once again some solid shots. I take it that is some artificial lighting applied onto the the plants from a flashlight or something? The second shot of the vineyard looks so awesome, the light and the amount of things to looks at is incredible. You've got a good eye for some shots and I love the way you interpret the lighting. Good lighting can make or break a shot and the way you use your keeps it interesting. Do have a question about the vineyard one, is that HDR or a longer exposure time?

Joker - Thanks man, Ill pm you wallpaper res.
Puma - Thanks dude! Lighting is definately important, its what makes the shot! The vineyard is just a single exposure taken in RAW, in fact I took it while going 70 down the highway, couldnt pass up the awesome clouds
As you can guess, it was a pretty fast exposure time. I did a ton of editing to bring back highlight detail and such, so it looks like a hdr.
Osari - I live in Sacramento, I was just visiting San Diego over spring break.

Re: Photography
guys, wich camera is a good camera to get?
i´m inclining towards the canon t4i, mostly because the 1080p/30fps 720p/60fps video recording, also has way lower noise at high isos compared to a nikon d3200 or similar, any toughts?

Re: Photography
A landscape shot I took a few weeks ago. Taken about a mile down the road from my house. Which is best? B&W or color? I really dig the clouds in the B&W photo.

Re: Photography
I like the B&W better. Only thing that could have made that better would have been if the grass was taller and you could see the wind shift through it. Thats just next level shit though.
Re: Photography
I think the black and white looks better as well, and I feel like the image could use a little rotation to the right, it looks kind of crooked.
Re: Photography
Some camera settings to shot mx? I know there has been posted some of them but i dont like so much.
