Re: Simulator?
He doesn't want someone to mess it up? Idk
And, to the original poster, you're right it doesn't take months to ride irl. It takes years to be good at it. This game is as close to real life as I've found in a game. I know of people using this game to learn how to ride better in real life (although its opposite for me). The closer to the way you ride in real life on here, the better you'll be. This isn't mx bs arc where you just pin it all the time, you have to use your brain and pick lines, throttle control, etc.

Really, then why don't you do an racefactory SX race? Why don't you post a video? I mean honestly? You joined in January and you think because you can finish a lap in 4 min and not fall you think you're fast, just get out you just sound completely stupid.

Re: Simulator?
actually, you are turning the bars. thats how a vehicle with 2 inline wheels leans. you turn the front wheel opposite of the way you want to go (countersteering) and the bike leans. MXS works the same way. you turn the bars and stop turning them when you hit the target lean angle. then you turn the bars to bring the bike back up out of the lean. thats what makes this game 100% better than any MX game before it. the bikes actually handle the way they are supposed to (except at low speed, where countersteering doesnt happen, however it may be overly complicated to code the change over point in to make it even more realistic...i dont know honestly!)Pumaxcs wrote:The main thing to learn is to not lean 100%. You are not turning the bars like on MVA games (technically you are but with proper friction and gravity this is how it works) you are leaning. Instead of push the stick all the way left to go left push it about 80-50%. It should help on not washing the front as much because you aren't pushing as hard. Now, once you get that down you should start learning how the bike reacts and learning where you can push through some corners or some tracks.
its the physics...JLV has them near 100% correct for the handling of a bike. every other game (MVA included) you can see the bars turning into the turn, all the time, and that is not correct. always hated that about the MVA games...oh well though. they were still fun!

For whoever freaked out there telling me to go in an sx race. I would be in them every week but my piece of shit computer can only handle 3 people. When i go on the sx server i cant even start on the trottle because it is just the worst.
