Re: Forces Help
The second diagram was good, the angles in the first one could have been wrong, possibly.DJ99X wrote:Well, that first diagram was wrong apparently

I believe there's a saying, "Never let a chemical engineer do a chemical engineer's job." zing!

Bitch I already told you I got the same answer when I made my original post, WAY before yours! That's how I knew his problem didn't make sense! haha I'll SHIT on Chemical Engineers, as long as we aren't doing any ChemistryDJ99X wrote:Suck it you useless Mechanical Engineers. Re: Forces Help
Btw it was an equilibrium, there wasn't really anything odd about it other then the angles and forces are not 100% but that's due to the weights and balances being old.

No yeah, I just meant the way it was drawn, with those angles, was not possible, take that 90 degree angle and delete it, and you would have .956 N pointing northwest so to speak

Re: Forces Help
Were that might be helpful we won't get full marks unless we do it the engineering way. Although I may need to learn this for a quick check.

Re: Forces Help
As a mechanical engineer wouldn't you do a lot of this stuff?? I do more structure stuff like beams balances, moments about x and beam stress/classifications.
Hi
