Re: Music While Riding
I have a 2gb flash drive type mp3 (no way im strapping the ipod to my arm during a mx race lol) and I listen to it almost everytime I'm on the bike. The only thing is, for me at least, the music has to be something slower. I have a couple mix cds that I listen to on the way to the track to get pumped up, but if I listen to like hard rock while riding, I start to ride a little over my head, because I'm getting too amped up. I listen to alot of acoustic stuff, and country while riding, because it helps me to relax. It is basically just like listening to the radio in the car. In truth, you should feel the bike, more than listen to it while riding(think about Ashley Fiolek) as far as shifting points and such. I truly feel like listening to music while riding is an advantage for me. It definitely is one of those things that works for some and not for others tho.

I have these and very rarely do they fall out or move around. They come with 3 different rubber pieces of different size, so you can use whichever fits you best. I also hear the skull kandy work well, but are a bit more expensive. Also make sure you pull up enough slack so that when you turn your head, the wires don't pull.

Re: Music While Riding
my buddy actually got a nano and used velco to the side of his helmet and the ipod and installed beanie headphones speakers inside his cheek pads (they rest in them so you heard the music but also bikes and your bike.

so there not really stuck in ur ear cuttin off the other sound, your just hearing it. Its a really sick way hes got it, he just lifts he left hand up to his helmet and pushes left or right.
