Not a rant at all. As coherent as it gets. Most people I know that aren't extreme left or right say exactly that. "Fiscally I'm more of a conservative, but socially I'm more of a liberal." But, sadly it seems like what you say is mostly, binary. Black or white. People shut down the second you try to bring it up. I realize that if Trump IS elected, it could be the biggest beltway shakeup since the Kennedy bros kicked the door in and redecorated. It's probably gonna be bad either way.
