Got back to our current pad and asked my roomie what he was doin tonight and he says maybe doing the group ride, why you wanna move? All moved and settled in at 10:30 on the hottest day of the year. I'm beat. Didn't even pack shit, just loaded it into our vehicles as quick as we could. Lol. Happy to be a white guy.

Re: MXS Twitter
Been trying to install win8 on the pc I built last night/this morning and it keeps crashing in the middle of the install. No idea what's wrong, whether it's just win8 screwing with the mobo or if somethings going on with my dvd drive... If anyone knows anything they could suggest it would be much appreciated. Part of it's probably just me overlooking something

Re: MXS Twitter
Are you getting any kind of error messages? My newest motherboard wouldn't let me install Windows 7 to any drives until I disabled UEFI in my BIOS.

Re: MXS Twitter
I was getting a few general error messages (eg "your system has experienced some errors, there will be a restart" from windows when I was trying to install). The last few times it couldn't even identify an OS, so I'm just leaving it for a couple hours and going to try again later. thanks for the tip on disabling uefi, not entirely sure what that is/does but I'll try it and report back.

My MXS keeps messing up lately, keeps saying "mxsimulator.exe has stopped working" or something like that, anyway do any of you have any tips or suggestions?

Didn't buy the RM250. Turns out it was a pretty bad buy. I did however check out the 150sx and 450 today. Question is, 150, 250sx, 350sx-f or 450? I like the four stroke for rideability but if I'm going fun factor it's the 150 all the way. How will the 150 perform with my 175lb arse on the sadle?

175lb isn't heavy in my opinion... However it does depend on your build. You could be a 3ft fat bastard or a 7ft slim guy

Re: MXS Twitter
My 144 was like a 125 with just a little bit more. My suggestion is that you get a used 125/150 and convert it to a 200. Lots of people have done them over on KTMTalk, and I had 2 myself. They ride like a 125 with 250f power. According to this thread, you'll need a bunch of parts that I don't really feel like retyping. You can also buy parted out motors or possibly even a converted motor on KTMTalk's classifieds.

Re: MXS Twitter
Not worth the extra money to me after a new bike purchase to make it a 200sx. I'm leaning towards the 450 but I'd really like to demo them. Have to wait until mid-August for a demo at Red Bud.
Re: MXS Twitter
I'm 6'1" so I'm not fat haha, but 175 is 175 on a bike. It can't tell if you're tall or short.
Re: MXS Twitter
I had no trouble getting good starts at 175 lbs in the 125 class back when I was racing. Of course, back then the 125 class only had 125's in it.ddmx wrote:Didn't buy the RM250. Re: MXS Twitter
When I was on 85's and supermini's my dad always told me his old 125's wouldn't compete with them, so I could only imagine.

You're also JLV, though. You have something that most of us can only wish for.

My dads 350 is awesome to ride, but the again he has the exc-f so it's setup will be different to the 350sx-f but I imagine they're still pretty similar
