That's it that's all.
However, the heat race was not just racing. Sometimes Stewart needs to jump in a damn straight line like the rest of us.

Re: SX Phoenix
X2!!! And as far as Reed and Bubba I said 3 corners before that to my wife, "watch Reed is going to take him out" and he did. I would not say it was a brutal hit or anything like that, it was an attempt at a pass that anyone of us would try and make to get to the front.Voutare wrote:.REIDY-171 wrote:I agree with Blitz

I still haven't seen any "official" confirmation that Stewart knocked Reed's bike over. Even the CR camp has not said anything about it.
Here you go.

Re: SX Phoenix
Thanks for the link Reidy. Unfortunately Larry Brooks is a real douchenozzle so I can't blindly side with him on the issue. After cooling down and thinking about this, I realize that its no fun having a lopsided battle like we're going to have for a while. It's great having such a heated rivalry as with JS and CR. I'm still a little suspicious of CR based on his past and what appears to be going out of his way to take out JS (Vegas was the tipping point for me as I respected CR before then, especially since he was Hill's teammate, same with his old Lites teammate J-Law who's fallen from possible greatness). There was a similar rivalry between Valentino Rossi and Max Baiggi in MotoGP that was equally polarizing for the fans and good for the sport. "The Doctor"(hero) proved to be the bigger man and is now legend while "Mad Max"(villain) faded back to WSB. I have a feeling that our dirtbikers will have the same story unfold in the future with the hero and the goat taking their rightful places in history. Lets all be grateful for what this potentially does for the sport. Think what could've been if CR had just bruised or strained his hand and have these hobbled giants battling healthy up-and-comers for podium spots. Reed needs to come back and prove that he's not his own worst enemy by running his own races and not get caught up in playing tag out there.

Re: SX Phoenix
hmmm...no Reed interview? That's not like him to shy away from the media. I've just finished watching all the JS vs. CR clips and think I've found the one that says it best....

Re: SX Phoenix
Thanks again for the link Reidy. I carefully listened to both riders sides and think the issue is not with the crash, but with the past. CR is caught up in trying to be a hard-on and using name calling (he called JS a pussy) and I don't hear that from JS. The AMA did jump to conclusions in the penalty, but that's gone now.
I want to give CR the benefit of the doubt, but he keeps saying and doing things that give me no choice but to dislike him. I understand being a former CR fan that there can be a point where you feel they can say or do no wrong. Funny how things change.
