On the gas under load it sounds nice, but everything else makes my speakers sound like they are blowing out.

Every TTB truck I've ever ridden in rode like a lumber wagon. I'll take solid axle simplicity over both for daily use, especially if it's coil sprung.

I was thinking the exact same thing, not that I'd ever get a chance to try it since in the UK we have no deserts and all woodland and fields etc is either privately owned or council owned, in which case as soon as you touch tyre on dirt you're fucked.
