I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Fanning the clutch is the key to riding a small 2-smoke.

Might be possible but some of the jumps there is not much run up to from the corner. I'd prefer to stay in the corner in 3rd gear so I dont miss a shift. Have never tried to feather the clutch out of the corners yet. The bike has 6 gears and I'm only really using 2-3 mainly and 4th on the long straight. If I gear down 3rd will be more usable for corners, 4th in faster sections, and may be 5th on the straight. If I get the sprockets this week might be able to try it out next weekend. Only other issue right now is the jetting the main jet I have is too rich so I'm going a step down to a 330.
Changing the front sprocket is like changing 3-4 teeth on the rear. Smaller front = Snappier bottom end but if you go down a size in the front and up a size in the back, the bike will go through it's gear box very very quick, on a big track with a 125 you'd be rung out in a hurry. I've never changed front sprockets because of this, I like to go in small increments usually end up only 1-2 (2t on my 125) larger in the rear. But if this the only track you ride, then by all means set it up for that track forsure.

Also take into account the jetting, if it's running rich right now it will be quicker once you get it dialed in.

I advise to try riding with your index finger out on the clutch as much as you feel comfortable. That way you are ready for any situation, whether you get out of shape and need to pull it in quick, or the bike is boggy and you need to snap the RPM's up. The reason I say index finger as well, I find with the middle finger tends to want to hang on the clutch. I'm pretty surprised at the number of the rookies in the pro's who use their middle finger, or even 2 middle fingers. You think them being the training camp era they would have picture perfect form/technique but it's quiet the opposite.

It looks like I'll be moving out to San Diego, CA the first week of July for at least a year. I can't wait to buy a new bike and rip up the motocross tracks out there! Can't fricken wait. 8)

Had the strangest thing happen to me on Sunday morning. I woke up and went to pee just like every other day, but i got super dizzy and felt like I was going to black out. I got extremely nauseous and I lost hearing in both ears. When I got back to bed i got extremely hot and could barely breathe. So I went to the emergency care place and they told me I have some sort of heart problem and mentioned "sudden cardiac death". I'm not too worried about it, though, those places are never right. I've had some sort of virus for a few days so it must be related to that.

If I die, someone come to my PC and release everything I have ever made for MX Sim and all my setups and heck just release my personal folder full of useless junk.

I thought this story was going to relate to your kidney stone lol but I hope that doesn't happen again, sounds pretty scary. You already have my address so I'll take your computer if something like that does happen though.

What do you mean by hang on it (vs. the index finger)? I think I use both middle and index at the same time, if I do use one it's the middle finger. I don't feel like I have enough control just using the index, then again besides my first lap I'm usually riding with arm pump so I need all the strength I can get to use the levers .

Sounds scary, hope it turns out ok for you. Heart problems aren't something to play around with.

While I'm a die hard 2 stroke guy, I think I'm going to go with a brand new 4 fatty, most likely of the blue, white, or orange kind. 8)

Today's date is observed to commemorate the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín.

Have you considered the ol' three five o? They have to be one of the best bikes, if not the best bike I've ridden.
