Anybody ski or ride?

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Never even heard of the place.

Okemo/Killington ftw. And Stowe. Vermont has the whole snowsports thing in the bag. :D

EDIT:

And it's about 45 minutes from Landing to Vernon.

Haha I know VT has it in the bag, but I'm too broke to go there haha.
I have a free pass to Mountain Creek. I'm surprised you've never heard of it- it's an Intrawest resort, and they host the Grand Prix of Snowboarding and the Olympic pipe qualifiers.

I wonder if JLV rides or skis....

Okemo hosts the Dew Tour. :D

And Killington has Grand Prix of Boarding too, among other random events throughout the year.

I bet your local park doesn't have a bus parked in the middle of it. :D I've probably heard of it, just doesn't ring any bells. I don't really follow pro snowboarding like I do motocross.

Looks nice. Lots of cool styles of rails. We don't have a lot of variety with boxes/rails around here. It's pretty average

Okemo has a lot of parks though. And a superpipe. :D

EDIT:

And Mt. Snow has the Dew Tour, not Okemo.

I've been to all them.
My favorite is The Stash at Killington though. Just epic natural shit all the time.

Stratton is probably my favorite legit park though.
Then Creek.

Nah my friends go there a lot though, and from their vids they've got a pretty diesel setup.

Let me know if you're going to Creek, man. I'm leaving Saturday after work, so if you can let me know by like 3:00 that'd be sick.

I used to ride 125 C at all the D34 tracks. Now all the nearby riding areas are shut down so I barely ride except for mountain biking.

I've never been to Diablo/Mountain Creek.

Ha. I just found out about the whole Mountain Bike thing.

I live 30 minutes from Killington, which is arguably the biggest mountain bike mountain in the area, and I never knew they did it. I went there one day for dinner and i was like "Yo... What the fuck?" Kids with $1000 bikes and shit bombing down under the gondola. :/

EDIT:

Forgot what I was actually going to post.

Anyway, I found out that Simon Dumont rides motocross. With JGR that lucky bastard.

Went to Creek on tuesday.... man is was such a great day.... Weather was absolutely PERFECT.... the snow was a bit tacky but it was good.

Did you try the large hits on Red Tail and flying fox? We were hitting them the second half of the day. There was a pretty bad uphill wind blowing. We had to start at the top and tuck all the way to the face of the jumps in order to have enough speed to clear the top of the landing. It was a pretty nutty day.

My buddy took some videos of me grinding on the box that goes under the south peak express lift. Also, a video of me doing a 360 on that jump at the bottom of cliff run. I was hitting 360's all over the place that day. It was absolutely SICK. I attempted a slow ass 360 on the 2nd jump on Red Tail (its like... a 45 footer or something, and the landing is insane), but i over rotated and washed out and slide all the way down the landing (like a 60 foot long landing lol).

Did they have the wood jibs set up when you went? They were fricken NUTS!

I'm trying to get my buddy to send me the vids, but hes being a lazy ass.... ill have them up asap.

We are planning on going again pretty soon. Ill let you know when we go again.
