you pay more and get a vip pass which means all day pit pass, vip tent with bleechers.
just ask the riders before or after the race for their jersey. they are more likely to give you goggles tho

you cant get in the tent but you can get into the pits during scheduled times and at washougal a vip ticket costs 135 dollars

If you have your pro license you get the same access as the VIP pass for free at any AMA National event, Road Racing, MX, SX...
