Re: MXON 2009
ye that suxx, but the tracks in America are nice.
What would be great is a sort of LEGEND LEAGUE where the top 20 of each championship (GP and AMA) race a championship of 4 race's or something.
2 in America (Glen Helen and Unadilla)
2 in Europe (Namur and Lierop)
Then is the discution of what championship is the best unneccesary becouse then we see who is the best.

Re: MXON 2009
I wouldn't do it at Glen Helen. That track doesn't really seem all that fun to me. If I were to do it anywhere, in the US, it would be Red Bud and Budds Creek.

Maybe Millville, seems like a lot of the pro's like that track a lot. Plus I would be able to go to it

I dunno. Washougal is a pretty cool track, but from what I hear isn't really slick, and not all that enjoyable.
They should do it at my private track after a nice, fresh harrow. It's like sex.

Re: MXON 2009
There has been a rumor going around for about the past 2 years that Mr. George Barber, who owns Barber Motorsports Park here in Birmingham, AL, reached an agreement that if he builds an mx track on the property, MXDN will come race and then we will get an AMA national after that. The track is not done, but they have had some vintage mx races on part of it. The track looks awesome, but I'm not holding my breath waiting for this to happen. It would be freakin sweet tho

Re: MXON 2009
Team Belgium will be anounced at Balen, the Belgian championship.
Where the whole top 10 (accept David Phillipaert's) will be racing. + Strijbos, Ramon, Roelants, Van Horebeek and Verbruggen.
So it's like a mini GP, only there it's less expensive (20€ for a ticket) and there is a whole day racing. Starting from 9:50 and ending @ 18:00 with only a midday break of 45 min.

Re: MXON 2009
don't know how the system works for other national championships. (I only know the AMA system).
But here is the timing. http://www.kmc-mol.be and click on info. And scroll down a bit.
